Radiant Barrier
|
|
The EasyFloor system utilizes a reflective foil underneath
the tubing base module that acts like a mirror reflecting
heat upwards into the room. This works because there is an
air space between the tubing and the reflective. EasyFloor
is the only radiant system to effectively use a radiant
barrier. Other systems lose efficiency by conducting heat
down into the ground in the case of a concrete slab
installation or into the room below in a sub floor
installation.

Weight |
|
EasyFloor is the only high efficiency radiant floor that is
light enough to be used on upper floors without special
consideration of the load bearing capability of the floor.
Systems using concrete or gypcrete may require structural
reinforcement before they can be used on upper floors.
|
|
Thermal Mass |
|
EasyFloor uses the right amount
of thermal mass to spread the heat evenly across the floor
and still provide good response time to thermostat changes.
System with a large thermal mass such as in-slab systems may
take hours to respond to thermostat adjustments. Other
systems that have no thermal mass may heat the floor
unevenly.

Ease of Installation |
|
EasyFloor installation is a simple process. The modular
components just snap together. Easy installation translates
to substantial cost saving over other radiant heat systems.
